We are looking for business designers to join our multidisciplinary project teams.

What will you do?

The tasks of this role will not be limited to business modelling and financial modelling, but will also imply the analysis of relevant user and market data, behavioural economic insights, exploration and definition of growth opportunities and validation in every stage of a design process. The “designer” in Business designer means that you will take an active role in identifying, designing and building new concepts, products and services.

  • Apply design and design thinking to business problems to bring innovation to life.
  • Apply human-centred methodologies to strengthen business and financial components of design work to create services and products that are viable.
  • Frame, direct and inform the design process through a business lens to ensure design solves business problems effectively.
  • Translate design solutions into value and impact through a language that business stakeholders are familiar with to prove design provides solutions to business problems.
  • Be an active part of the innovation team in every phase of an innovation project.
  • Analyse a client brief: Turn the why, how, and what into concrete and actionable project plans with budgets.
  • You will participate in or lead projects and will work together with a top team of product-, digital-, service- and business designers to translate your plans into tangible outcomes.
  • Translate strategic issues, and user needs to fit solutions
    Organise and lead workshops.

Who? You

  • If you feel comfortable in the fuzzy front end of an innovation track. You think in experiments and hypothesis to validate the value of propositions in the market.
  • If you have a (Post) Master’s degree or (+2 year) relevant work experience in Product Development, Economics, Innovation-Management, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Marketing.
  • If you calculate ROI, NPV and ARR with ease.
  • If you work independently, but you have the mindset of a team player.
  • If you know design thinking and master business modelling, to make financial models and investment plans.
  • If you ’re up to speed with state-of-the-art business models.
  • If you know to visualise your ideas in Adobe CC (photoshop, illustrator, InDesign. and visually attractive presentation deck (Google Slides / Keynote)
  • If you can pitch business cases to an audience of senior management or inside the Made team.
  • You’re fluent in English, and it’s a big plus if you’re fluent in Dutch. The notion of French is nice to have.
  • You know how to handle freedom and responsibility, and you love to contribute to building a great working environment.
  • Drivers licence B
